Emily Silcock

Welcome to my website. 

I am a Ph.D. student in Economics at Harvard University 

Affiliations: Institute for Quantitative Social Science, Center for American Political Studies, Center for International Development. 

My research interests focus on Political Economy, especially media, conflict and aid, and using deep learning methods for text analysis. 

Previously, I was a Pre-doc with Melissa Dell and prior to that I worked for the governments of Djibouti and Ethiopia, as an ODI fellow.
